Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, the Secretary-General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, visited northern Syria, including the areas of Jindires, A'zaz, and Afrin. The purpose of his visit was to distribute food baskets, school supplies, and educational materials to orphan schools in A'zaz, as well as to inspect the homes that had been rebuilt under the supervision of Dr. Ali and the management of the Qatar Charity organization.
Later, at the request of the Mufti of Jindires, Dr. Ali delivered the Friday sermon. The main theme of his sermon was "The Dangers of the Self and its Desires, and the Importance of Heart Health, Spiritual Loftiness, and Public Awareness in Serving Society."
Additionally, the Governor of Kilis requested a fraternal and peaceful meeting with the Secretary-General. During their meeting, they discussed ways to develop and expand charitable activities in northern Turkey.
At the end of his visit, Dr. Ali Qaradaghi thanked everyone who had put in effort and commended all the charitable work being carried out by individuals and organizations in these deprived areas. He also advocated for more effort and cooperation to assist the poor and needy in Syria.
This visit by Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi is part of the humanitarian efforts undertaken by Dr. Ali and various charitable organizations to support the vulnerable segments of Syrian society and alleviate their suffering amidst the difficult conditions they are enduring.
