In Istanbul, al-Qaradaghi and Erbaş Announce the Launch of the "Gaza: An Islamic and Humanitarian Responsibility" International Conference

ISTANBUL – Following Friday prayers in the courtyard of the historic Abu Ayyub al-Ansari Mosque in Istanbul, a joint press conference was held by His Eminence Professor Dr. Ali al-Qaradaghi, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), and His Excellency Dr. Ali Erbaş, President of Religious Affairs of Turkey.

During the conference, which was attended by a group of scholars, prominent figures, and a large public gathering, the launch of the international scholars' conference, titled "Gaza: An Islamic and Humanitarian Responsibility," was officially announced.

This important conference is scheduled to continue for the next few days and will include several specialized workshops bringing together scholars, officials, politicians, heads of institutions, and media professionals to discuss the various pathways for providing support and aid.

It was also announced that the outcomes and recommendations of the conference will be continuously published through official statements and reports on the IUMS's platforms.
