KIU's Sulaimani Branch Honors Professor Dr. Ali Qaradaghi in a Grand Gathering

Sulaimaniyah – On the evening of Monday, May 5, 2025, in a special and dignified gathering, the Sulaimani branch of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) hosted the esteemed Professor Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars and Head of the Kurdish humanitarian organization Rabita. The event was attended by a significant number of KIU members and supporters from the Sulaimaniyah region.

In his speech, Professor Dr. Qaradaghi elaborated on the current situation of Muslim nations and the immense challenges they face. He also highlighted his continuous efforts to serve the Kurdish people, support the peace process in Northern Kurdistan (Bakur), and advocate for the Kurdish cause in Western Kurdistan (Rojava).

A key part of the event was the presentation of an honorary award to the renowned scholar, Professor Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, by the KIU's Sulaimani branch.
