The head of the IUMS receives the Iraqi ambassador in Doha to discuss cooperation and support for Islamic causes.

His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Ali Mohiuddin Al-Qaradaghi, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, received His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Jaafar Al-Sadr, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the State of Qatar, on Monday afternoon at his office in the Union’s headquarters in Doha. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and examined a number of issues facing the nation, while emphasizing support for scientific and intellectual efforts and strengthening communication between religious and academic institutions in the Islamic world.

Emphasis was also placed on the importance of continuing joint work in a way that serves Islamic causes, promotes the spirit of dialogue and understanding, and contributes to consolidating the values ​​of moderation and centrism.
