Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi Participates in the Annual Global Islamic Economy Forum in Malaysia

During the Global Islamic Economy Forum, held in Malaysia for two days from May 28 to 29, 2024, Prof. Dr. Ali Muhyiddin Qaradaghi, the head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, attended the opening ceremony of the forum, where he met with the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mr. Anwar Ibrahim.

At the beginning of the forum, the Malaysian Prime Minister warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi and expressed his deep appreciation for his participation. For his part, Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi thanked him for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of cooperation and collaboration between scholars and decision-makers to advance the Islamic economy globally.

It is worth noting that this forum is held annually and is considered an important platform that brings together scholars, economic experts, and decision-makers from around the world. The aim of this forum is to improve and enhance economic cooperation between Islamic countries and encourage investment and innovation in the field of Islamic economics.

At the forum, participants will discuss several important topics, such as Islamic investment, trade, sustainable development, technological innovation, and how to align these topics with Islamic principles.

It is appropriate to mention that Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi traveled to Malaysia at the invitation of the Central Bank of Malaysia, where he will conduct a two-day training course for the employees of the Central Bank. The aim of this course is to enhance the capabilities and understanding of the employees regarding Islamic investment and its procedures.
