Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi Delivered a Powerful Speech at the Global Islamic Forum

The head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Prof. Dr. Ali Muhyiddin Qaradaghi, arrived in Moscow on Thursday evening and was welcomed by officials at the airport. His activities began the following Friday.

His main activity was the forum on Saturday, which started in the morning. In the opening session, after the speech by the forum's head and representatives of President Vladimir Putin, Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi delivered a powerful speech.

In his address, he pointed to the collapse of moral order and international and humanitarian law and human rights, which has been clearly reflected in the events in Gaza and Lebanon, instilling concern and distrust in the hearts of people worldwide. He also referred to the collapse of family institutions and the acceptance of homosexuality in European countries, to an extent that has crossed all boundaries.

He then discussed Islam's stance on established matters of faith, morality, human dignity, rights, and the principles of justice, mercy, and benevolence, which are not subject to change or alteration, and which Europe, in general, is now opposing. He stated that this is the beginning of Europe's downfall, providing numerous proofs from the verses of the Holy Quran, the Prophetic Sunnah, and the biography of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him), as well as from the biography of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him).

He then pointed to the duty of Muslims in the face of this turbulent situation and the collapse that has affected all aspects of life, calling for unity and the presentation of an alternative civilizational project that focuses on shared human principles and values, and dialogue as a necessity and a tool for humanity, in order to achieve cooperation and peaceful coexistence.

It is worth noting that he emphasized the importance of having clean factories and technology and relying on trusted equipment to avoid incidents similar to the one in Lebanon.

He also delivered a message to Muslims in his speech, urging them to rely on great moral values and to embody mercy, forgiveness, and dialogue in their lives.
