On the evening of Monday, October 14, Prof. Dr. Ali Muhyiddin Qaradaghi, the head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, traveled to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to attend the official invitation of the advisor to the President of the Islamic Republic of Uzbekistan.
There, Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi will participate in two international forums to be held from October 15 to 17.
The first forum will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 15-16, under the title "Islam is a Religion of Peace and Goodness," while the second forum, on Thursday, October 17, will discuss "The Status of Imam Al-Tirmidhi's Scientific Legacy in Islamic Civilization."
It is worth noting that Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi will deliver two speeches at the beginning of both forums.
In his first speech, he will focus on Islamic values of peace, justice, and mercy, and will also highlight the current issues facing the Islamic nation and the role of the International Union of Muslim Scholars in presenting a legal vision regarding these challenges.
In his second speech, he will discuss the personality of Imam Al-Tirmidhi and shed light on his scientific legacy and his great role in enriching Islamic civilization.
It is noteworthy that a number of Muslim administrative officials from countries such as Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Russia are present at the forum, in addition to representatives of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the United Nations, and local scientific and governmental figures from Uzbekistan.
This activity of Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi is considered another valuable activity of his, where despite the great geographical distance and differences of the regions where his activities are held, he continuously participates and is present in them, and has proven his presence in many international Islamic forums and meetings, delivering important speeches to the participants, and fulfilling his role as the head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars with utmost dedication, always striving to be at the level of his duties and responsibilities.
