Today, Saturday, December 14, 2024, Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, and a delegation from the Rabita Humanitarian Organization participated in the Second Global Conference of the (Ameen Al-Aqsa) Foundation, held in Istanbul, the capital of Turkey.
It is worth noting that this conference was specifically held to support and aid Gaza and welcomed over 400 personalities and delegations from various Islamic countries. The Rabita Humanitarian Organization, as the only Kurdish organization, had a delegation present at the conference.
During the conference, the Rabita Humanitarian Organization presented to the attendees and representatives of the participating countries the works and projects it had accomplished over the past year for the resilient people affected by the disaster in Gaza.
Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, as the President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, delivered a speech. Afterward, as the founder of the Rabita Humanitarian Organization, he presented shields of honor to Dr. Essam Bashir, President of the organizing institution of the conference (Ameen Al-Aqsa), and Dr. Ekrima Sa'id Sabri, preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque and head of the advisory board of the aforementioned institution (the award was received by his representative). In return, both expressed their thanks, appreciation, and commendation to the philanthropists of Kurdistan and the collaborators on the Rabita Humanitarian Organization's projects. Later, they presented a special gift to Prof. Dr. Ali Muhyiddin Qaradaghi.
Additionally, during the conference, Prof. Dr. Ali Muhyiddin Qaradaghi, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, offered 20,000 (twenty thousand) dollars as aid to the affected people of Gaza, while the Rabita Humanitarian Organization and the Descendants of Salahuddin Ayubi donated 10,000 (ten thousand) dollars to those affected by the disaster in Gaza.
