P.D. Ali Qaradaghi, the head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, in the framework of his continuous efforts to strengthen relations between scholars of the nation and consolidate ties between Islamic candidates and leaders, received yesterday, Tuesday, February 5, 2025, a high-level delegation of Malaysian scholars.
The delegation consisted of His Eminence (Sheikh Luqman), the Grand Mufti of Malaysia, His Excellency (Qamar Al-Zaman), the head of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, and Dr. (Ahmed Fawaz), an expert in the jurisprudence of balance and the head of the Qaradaghi Center in Malaysia.
The visit was followed by a meeting that lasted from 12:30 PM until 4:30 PM, during which issues of jurisprudence, deduction, and the Islamic project were discussed as the cornerstone of the Islamic revival. The Islamic revival also depends on innovation and deduction guided by the principles of Sharia.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of deepening common vision and filling the gaps that lead to unproductive differences, in a way that serves to build a coherent horizontal vision that strengthens the unity of the Islamic nation in major issues.
This visit is part of a series of scientific and intellectual meetings that P.D. Ali Qaradaghi has dedicated a long time to, aiming to embody the meanings of complementarity between jurisprudence and thought, and to link contemporary deduction with the principles of Sharia, in a way that serves the Islamic civilizational project and increases the readiness of Islamic jurisprudence in addressing new issues.
