On Thursday, May 1, 2025, the Humanitarian Association (Rabita-y Miroyi), on the occasion of its 37th anniversary, commenced a large-scale aid distribution to impoverished families during a dignified ceremony in Sulaymaniyah province. This significant charitable project involved providing 100 million Iraqi Dinars and 1000 food baskets, which were distributed among 1000 low-income families.
The ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, President of the Humanitarian Association, a number of prominent religious figures, and His Excellency Haval Abubakr, Governor of Sulaymaniyah. Attendees praised the Humanitarian Association's role in serving the community and expressed their commitment to continuing charitable work.
In a speech, Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi emphasized the importance of cooperation and solidarity among all segments of society, especially in the current situation which necessitates greater support for needy families. He also stated that the Humanitarian Association will continue its humanitarian and charitable mission and strive to extend its projects to reach the largest possible number of people in need.
For their part, the beneficiaries of this project expressed their immense gratitude and appreciation to the philanthropists and the Humanitarian Association. Along with expressing their joy and commendation, they offered good wishes for all those involved in this charitable work and hoped that such projects would continue.
