"Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees." (Al-Mujadila: 11).
I am a little late, but I did not want to convey my warm congratulations to you with a simple and plain comment, as a neutral, believing Kurd, far from any group, faction, or party. My dear Professor, you are respected, knowledgeable, and dignified. I may have complaints and criticisms about some of your actions and opinions, but with the utmost loyalty and appreciation, I always look upon your beautiful efforts, work, and services. A person, if they are conscientious and honest, knows that:
It was you, in the midst of the brothers' war (civil war), who became a refuge, a provider, and the charitable hand for thousands of precious ones, widowed women, and the uncared-for of this Kurdistan.
At a time when the so-called officials and revolutionaries of this country were busy stealing the infrastructure and resources of this Kurdistan, it was you, sir, who rebuilt hundreds of areas and remote villages of this wounded Kurdistan with beautiful mosques, schools, bridges, and hospitals, and fed the hungry stomachs of the poor.
Only for the sake of God and for my own conscience, and far from any flattery or personal interest, I send you these congratulations. In truth, I have much more to say about the pride, service, and goodness of your dear self, but there is not enough space for it all here. I will only say that you are the pride of a nation that is uncared-for and without true friends. May you live long and be ever more esteemed. Again, I offer you my warm congratulations on undertaking this heavy and difficult task.".
