Honorable Professor Doctor Ali Qaradaghi,

You are the symbol of effort and struggle,

For the Kurds and Kurdistan, you brought blessings, bounty, and grace.

History bears witness to you:

That you are a truthful Muslim,

And an authentic, genuine Kurd.

History declares that in the modern service of the Kurdish people,

No one reaches your level or your stature.

You are more devoted to the Kurds and Kurdistan

Than all those groups and factions

Who, with empty boasts, hang themselves from the tall stature of "Kurdishness."

Your Jamana (traditional headscarf) and your Kurdish attire cry out:

"You are the high peak of Qandil, the Halgurd of the Hasarost range!"

For the past, the present, and the future of our nation,

You are the caring guardian, the loyalist, and the friend.

You are the personality who utilized for his homeland and his people

All of his strength, ability, rank, status, and position.

Let the ill-wishers tear their collars in spite, burst with rage, and meet their ruin.
