From God's Laws for the Conflict Between Right and Wrong:

After every trial comes victory.
After every tribulation comes tranquility.

Muslims and the Prophet (peace be upon him) entered the Battle of the Trench from two fronts, fighting from two trenches:

The internal front, which they fought against the hypocrites and agitators.

And the external front, which they fought against the (Confederates).

Both sides imagined that Islam had nothing left and was breathing its last, yet a decade after the Battle of the Trench, the Companions were confronting the Romans and Persians!

The front of truth (right) does not die; it may break, but it never dies.

All I want to tell you is:

Have a stance and fear God in your actions.

Sheikh al-Islam (Ibn Taymiyyah) said: "If you wish to recognize the front of truth, then look and see where the arrows of the enemy are directed."

And Imam Shafi'i said:

"Follow the arrows of the enemy and find the front of truth."
