Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, in a statement, strongly condemns the Zionist and American attacks on Iran, as well as Iran's retaliatory attacks on other countries.

We warn, with complete clarity, against the wave of Zionist-American arrogance spreading in our region, which treats the national security of our homelands as a mere arena for delivering military messages and testing deterrence.

This trajectory opens the door to widespread turmoil, places the sovereignty of our countries under severe tests, and threatens the stability that the people of the region have paid a heavy price to preserve.

Any project of hegemony managed with a mindset of "supremacy" sows permanent anxiety on the ground and keeps the region in a state of endless alert.

At the same time, we condemn the Iranian attacks that have affected the Arabian Gulf, Jordan, and the Kurdistan Region, causing fear and anxiety among civilians, resulting in casualties, and damaging infrastructure and facilities. The security of the people is a red line, and the sanctity of blood is a fundamental principle in all religions and laws.

These operations widen the circle of danger, double the likelihood of the situation exploding, and drag the region toward chaos that serves no one.

We call on Tehran to immediately halt these attacks and redirect its compass away from safe arenas and vital facilities related to the lives of citizens in Qatar and other Gulf states, and away from cities like Erbil and others. Any message written over the heads of civilians loses its legitimacy, and any calculation made at the expense of neighbors' security deepens isolation and increases the cost.

The regional equation requires strategic rationality, strict control over the rules of engagement, and the complete neutralization of societies from the fire of exchanged messages.

The shortest path to stability passes through respect for sovereignty, the protection of lives, recourse to political and diplomatic channels, and the prioritization of the logic of the state over the logic of open battlefields.

The region stands at a crossroads. The option of de-escalation opens a horizon for responsible dialogue that secures the Gulf, Jordan, and the Kurdistan Region, and restores value to the principle of good neighborliness. The option of escalation, however, expands the scope of the fire and brings with it waves of new anxiety and destruction.

The dignity of our homelands and the security of our peoples are of the highest priority.

We demand an immediate halt to all targeting that harms civilians and vital facilities, and we call for a political path that consolidates stability, restores balance to the region, and protects the right to a safe life, free from projects of hegemony and hasty reactions.
