Today, Wednesday, July 19, 2023, marks the first day of the month of Muharram, the beginning of the New Hijri Year 1445. On this occasion, I pray to Almighty Allah to grant success and prosperity to Muslims throughout the world in this New Hijri Year 1445.

I pray to the Lord that this year be filled with goodness, blessings, happiness, and obedience to our Creator. May it also bring honor, respect, dignity, and the liberation of holy sites, fostering comprehensive development in all aspects of life for our nations.

O Muslim brothers and sisters worldwide:
Let us thank Almighty Allah for the opportunities and life He has granted us. Let us strive to make the New Hijri Year a beneficial opportunity to rectify our relationship and reconcile with our Lord and with our families. Focus your efforts on strengthening social ties, increasing religious awareness, and upholding Islamic values.

I hope that Almighty Allah makes this new year a divine gift for us to start a better life for ourselves and for the communities we live in.

O Almighty Allah, we pray to You in this year to restore honor to our nations. Make this year a year of dignity, glory, honor, and might for them. Save them from discord, conflict, oppression, and fragmentation. Pour the blessings of peace, harmony, and brotherhood upon all their components, races, and ethnicities.

I pray to Almighty Allah that the beginning of this year be good and its end be happy and joyful for us. By Your immense grace, bestow goodness, blessings, mercy, and compassion upon our deeds, lives, and health. Put mercy in the hearts of rulers so they may issue general pardons for prisoners held for their opinions. Guide them to strive to heal wounds and establish peace.
