International Union of Muslim Scholars: The martyrdom of leader "Ismail Haniyeh" is a new Zionist crime that emphasizes the brutality of the occupier and requires a strong international response.

[And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.] (Al Imran: 169).

With a heart content with the decree and destiny of Allah, full of sorrow and grief for the state of our nation, and with immense anger raging in our chests against the Zionist criminals.

We convey the heartbreaking news of the martyrdom of the mujahid and struggling leader (Ismail Haniyeh) and his personal guard to the Islamic and Arab nations and the honorable people worldwide. This was carried out by the criminal Zionist occupying state in a cowardly act of aggression.

The hand of tyranny and betrayal reached out to eliminate a symbol of resistance and steadfastness, a man who dedicated his entire life and his family to supporting the legitimate rights of his people and homeland. A man who did not bow to oppression and was not subdued. Martyr Ismail Haniyeh was an example of courageous and wise leadership, a voice for truth and justice in the face of injustice, a symbol of steadfastness and challenge.

In these difficult moments, the Union of Scholars strongly condemns and deeply denounces this cowardly operation, which is considered a heinous crime and a blatant violation of all international agreements and human norms. This aggression reveals the true face of the occupying state and its criminal policies that constantly target the leaders and symbols of nations.

We call upon the leaders of Arab states to act immediately and work seriously to warn this hateful enemy with military responses and to sever all forms of relations and trade with it. They must also hand over the criminals to international courts and punish the occupying state for these cowardly crimes it commits against the leader and people of Palestine.

The unity of Arab and Islamic, then humanitarian, stances and the coordination of efforts are crucial and necessary to confront these dangerous challenges and ensure justice and retribution against the transgressors.

We call upon all world leaders to condemn this heinous crime and to designate the occupying state as a terrorist state. These cowardly actions reflect the brutality of the occupying state and its continuous violation of human rights and international laws. The international community must act immediately to stop these crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice before international courts.

These tyrannical acts are clear evidence that the occupying state does not want peace, but rather seeks to live on war, oppression, and starvation of the Palestinian people and to expand and prolong this current war. The policies of tyranny and aggression implemented by the occupying state aim to disrupt stability and impose its will through force.

We also send a clear message to the tyrannical occupying state: Your heinous crimes and your oppressive operations against the symbols of the steadfast Palestinian people and their defenders will only make the Palestinian people more resilient, determined, and vengeful for the blood of their leaders and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the cause of Allah and in support of their land and families.

May Allah Almighty bestow His mercy upon the martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh and grant him residence in paradise with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, for they are the best of companions.

Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
